Our Missionaries

"I was born and raised in Amish country living life and

working a 9-5 job. When suddenly In the spring of

2021 I felt the lord calling me to quite my job. From

there I went into a season of pruning with the Lord

for a few months. The following fall I started a 3

month internship at The Well Winesburg that totally

transformed my life. I recieved my calling from the

Lord during this time and really discoverd the father's

heart for me. Which launched me into what I am

doing today, traveling the world sharing the gospel

of Jesus Christ bringing the light to dark places."

Pablo and Elizabeth Jimenez-Gerber

Hi! We're Pablo and Elizabeth. We just celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary in March and we recently found out that our daughter Gloriana will become a big sister in November. For me (Elizabeth) all of this started in 2016 on a 10 day summer mission trip to Costa Rica with my youth group. It was there that God called me into missions full time. After that trip I felt God telling me to return to Costa Rica for their 10 month discipleship program, Vida220. I said YES! Pablo is from Costa Rica and has had a missionary calling since he was 12 years old. He found out about Vida220 in 2015. He was doing that program when I came down for the summer trip and that's how we met. After he graduated from Vida220 he had the opportunity to go to East Asia for a summer to teach English and found a heart for missions overseas. After getting married, we were able to return to East Asia as a family in 2019 with plans to go long term. Since then, pandemic hit and there have been many ups and downs but God has changed our plans and our hearts. He has finally called us to work with a senior missionary couple in Scotland starting in December this year! We will be working closely with a small church and the youth in the community there. We are officially moving from Costa Rica to Ohio in June and look forward to spending time at The Well before moving to Scotland!

I’ve been working with a college ministry, Campus Outreach, at Bowling Green State University since Fall 2020. I first got involved with the ministry during my time in college at Ohio State. It was there that the Good News of Jesus really became real to me and I started to follow the Lord wholeheartedly. I had met a woman on staff with Campus Outreach during my first week of college. She was a faithful friend and mentor to me throughout all of my time at OSU and really showed me what it looks like to walk with God, live in deep community with other believers, and share my faith. I got to be a part of doing some ministry as a college student and was in awe of how the Lord could work through my very average efforts to point others to Him and watch Him transform their lives as well! As I graduated and decided to come on staff full time, this has continued to be true, it has been such a joyful and challenging several years getting to minister to college students. The college campus can be so full of brokenness with so many young people in need of guidance and truth. They are longing for purpose, hope, and love that can only be found in Christ! It is truly a privilege to be able to be here and help point people to the hope of abundant life in Jesus, to walk alongside young believers as they are being established to walk with God for a lifetime, and to equip them to share that same hope with others here and wherever else in the world they may go after leaving the college campus! I’m so thankful for The Well and many others that are a part of this mission alongside me!
